Khalifé
“To seek the truest emotion, then give it an olfactory form.”
A singular journey
From the Mediterranean to haute perfumery.
Franco-Lebanese, Serge Khalifé grew up between cultures in which flowers, resins, woods, spices and the rituals of hospitality give scent an essential place.
In 1989, he entered the world of haute perfumery and discovered a rare tradition: perfume composed for one particular person, from their character, history and presence.
He then pursued an entrepreneurial career in telecommunications and technology. This experience developed both his demand for precision and his freedom of method—qualities that would later shape his way of composing: understanding deeply, connecting sensitive information, then allowing a solution of apparent simplicity to emerge.

The vision
Perfume as an invisible portrait.
For Serge Khalifé, a personal fragrance reveals a part of oneself that feels immediately familiar. It gives olfactory presence to an intimate emotion, sometimes still awaiting its name.
His method brings together listening, memory and an intuitive knowledge of materials. Mediterranean roots, Provençal nature and each client’s sensibility become the elements of a free, living and personal olfactory language.
The Maison today
A private perfumery inhabited by calm.
At the Bastide, Serge Khalifé personally receives the clients who come to undertake the creation of their intimate perfume.
Every encounter takes the time it requires. The Maison remains deliberately confidential and fully devoted to the attention, freedom and exacting standards that give true bespoke creation its strength.
