The Bastide is a house of perfumery inhabited by silence, light and the rhythm of the living world. It welcomes a select number of clients through private appointments.
Its park and the surrounding landscapes open a space of calm and availability. The forest, woodland, sun-warmed earth, foliage and flowers become paths towards a precious sensation, a memory or an emotion.

The creative residence
Time becomes one of the perfume’s materials.
The search for a truly personal perfume may unfold over several days. Each accord is discovered, worn, allowed to rest and encountered again with renewed perception.
Four spacious suites welcome the creator and, if desired, their family or companions. The spirit of the Maison favours a luxury of simplicity, space, time and attentive care, expressed through warm and discreet hospitality.
Healthy organic cuisine, conceived by a specialist chef, extends the sensory exploration. The orchard, fruit, vegetables, aromatic herbs and flowers of the park create a living dialogue between taste and smell. Each meal contributes to awakening perception and reconnecting with nature.
The cost of accommodation, meals and on-site guidance is included in the fee for the bespoke perfume research and development programme. The Bastide is a private creative residence, exclusively open to clients engaged in their olfactory project.

A collective work
A haute-couture creation, down to its case.
At the heart of the personalised creation atelier, every project opens all creative possibilities. Around the perfumer, sensitivity and expertise bring noble materials and conceptual pairings together to understand a person and give their perfume its truest form.
An ensemble of craftspeople then contributes as it would in a haute couture house: selecting the crystal, designing the bottle, creating the presentation case, choosing materials, finishes and details. The formula, its vessel and the object that protects it are conceived as a whole.
This pursuit of excellence belongs to the great French traditions of haute couture, haute joaillerie and haute horlogerie: time, precision of gesture, mastery of materials and attention to the personality of the person who will receive the creation.
